Dishonored launch party

These are for the Dishonored launch party tonight. The game was done by Arkane Studios and Bethesda. The game looks great, check out their website here (http://www.dishonored.com/). The blood splatters were especially fun to try and recreate along with the tattoo the main character wears on his wrist as well as the mark of the plague (the red "x"). The game looks awesome and I felt honored to be included on such a special night for Arkane Studios here in Austin, TX.

Meet the Avengers

I had these guys on the books for a little while but I wasn't sure what I was going to do. The recipient of these was 7 years old and totally in love with the new Avengers movie. We've got The Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America and Thor. I love the little word cookies too :) I couldn't believe how fun these were to make, the more I got done on them, the more I fell in love with them. I've always been a fan of the characters but now I love them all that much more.

Pirates vs. Ninjas!!! Welcome baby Mason

What could be more fun that Pirate vs. Ninja cookies to announce to the world  the arrival of Mr. Mason... not much. The idea for these was presented to me from the father and I was so excited to give them a shot. We decided on the cartoon style ninja and pirates with matching gold doubloons and mini throwing stars to match. So much cuteness in such a little plate, I love how much fun these were and how outside the box they were from typical "baby" cookies.

Welcoming Baby Reagan...

We did two sets of cookies for little Ms. Reagan, one for the baby shower and one for the family. Her new room was custom painted with adorable animals and the while she didn't want a bunch of decorations for the shower, we decided on a polka-dot theme.  I carried a little of that theme into the family cookies using just the mom's favorite color (and the dad's favorite animals, can you find the dinosaur?).

Gone With the Wind... baby shower?

These were a lot of fun, a friend asked me to help her out... she was planning a baby shower for her best friend and the theme was Gone With the Wind. She wanted to focus on the green dress that Scarlet makes out of the curtains. I wasn't sure where these were heading when I agreed to do it but after a bunch of sketches, these came out pretty cute... The onesie represented the dress but I had to include the crazy feathers in her hat too. I wanted to do some with text, doesn't it remind you of the old title cards they'd put before the movies? I hope the friend likes them :)

Bright colored ice cream cones

These were done for a splash pad party, they were put into cute little boxes that had brightly colored patterns on them.
