Beach themed wedding favors...

Our dear friend Kristin and Russ got married this weekend in Key West. Russ pretty much gave me free reign to make whatever I wanted but said he wanted some thing beach themed and laid back to match their style. He casually mentioned there would be a hammock at the wedding reception along with a bonfire to roast smores... I kinda latched onto the hammock idea and came up with this. I loved it. There were 90 of these things total and they took FOREVER to finish... but they were so worth all the hand cramping moments when the got to see them and hand them out :)

Beach theme bridal shower in Maryland

When my friend asked me to help her out with some cookies for a beach themed wedding I thought... I've got this cool idea I've been dying to try. The colors were navy and coral so I did the sea shell and little heart in the wedding colors and left the sandy cookies to whatever colors I could come up with (I added the fun little crab since the wedding was in Maryland, and they love their crabs in Maryland). The wedding is this weekend so we'll see how the bridal party liked them but they came out just the way they were in my head so it's a win for me :)
