Painting fun, splattering on cookies... messy, messy fun.

Just finished some fun birthday cookies for some girls celebrating at Painting with a Twist... These were for Miss Alyssa's birthday, I was told her favorite colors are lime green, teal and purple... and she wanted something fun. Here's hoping they live up to her expectations

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you... I made the cookies :)

I am surprising my husband's uncle with cookies for his birthday (I hope he doesn't see this before his box arrives). I had a million ideas but ended up just trying to make some fun "birthday" cookies so he could share them with his friends. I love the way the square cookies came out. I've been trying to do more with painting details and I loved how fun they ended up looking... so much easier with a brush than a marker. Since he's never had any of my cookies before, or seen them in person, we wanted to throw a little of everything at him, all my tricks in one box. The cupcakes came out super cute and are by far my favorite. There is something about rainbow sprinkles that just make the inner kid in you smile.

Warner Brothers... meet Disney.

My newest order was for an old college friend that contacted me for a quick last minute favor. Her mom is celebrating her 60th birthday on Thursday and the family is having a surprise party for her in Kentucky. As if the party wasn't enough, they are also surprising her with a trip to Orlando so she can visit the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios and visit Disney World... thus the Mickey meets Harry cookies :) I wanted to try and tie them all together so I carried the same colors thru most of the cookies. I love the way Harry came out. Harry and the Mickey with the buttons are the only un-altered cookies... all the other ones were custom made. The cupcakes came out super cute and my husband decided to help me and picked out yellow and red sprinkles out of my rainbow bottle for me, very patient and very awesome of him.
