Richard Scarry is an illustrative genius. There, now you all know. If you haven't read a Busy Town book lately I challenge you to go back and read one without smiling. I was asked to do these for a young man's first birthday (fun fact, I got to do their baby shower cookies too). I had so much fun with these and while I originally was only going to do a couple cars, I got so caught up in the excitement that I couldn't narrow it down :) I think I got all the favorites (Pickle car, the Apple, Pig family, Goldbug, etc.) but by far, my favorite was the "Doctor Dentist," his expression and car just made me smile.
