Giving Thanks for Thanksgiving

I had two different orders for Thanksgiving this year. One was for a school and she wanted something fun and age appropriate for elementary aged kids. The second was for a repeat customer who always has a big family gathering and everyone bakes but her, so she wanted to bring something extra fun this year to show off... here's what I came up with. I kinda wish I had more to do because these were so much fun to design and make.

Don't these remind you of school? They were inspired by the stack I get of them every year from my son... I love them!

Austin meets D.C. (and falls in love)

Austin meets D.C. welcome cookies for a wedding this past weekend. The bride side is a Mexican Hot Chocolate flavor with a Cinnamon flavor royal icing, the groom side is a Guinness flavor with a Bailey's Irish Cream flavor royal icing.... these were really tasty :)  I haven't heard from her how she liked these but the weather was super sketchy so I'm sure she had her hands full trying to get everything ready. Melissa, I hope you had a wonderful wedding despite the cold weather. Thank you so much for including me in your special day :)

The Doctors of Doctor Who, take 3... bigger and better

One more set to add to the collection... this time they are a little bigger than my usual doctors. They still make me smile, even if I've done them before :)

Assemble Avengers... there's a party to attend!

Superhero cookies for a super birthday boy turing 5 tomorrow. Happy birthday to Nathaniel who loves Ironman, Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye and Captain America... I hope these cookies help make your special day extra super.

And on that bombshell...

These should be arriving today . They are pretty simple but I love that I got to do them. Top Gear is always on at our house, so these made me smile the whole time I was doing them thinking about all the crazy stuff they did on the show. I really hope the birthday boy enjoys them as much as I do :)
