I had two different orders for Thanksgiving this year. One was for a school and she wanted something fun and age appropriate for elementary aged kids. The second was for a repeat customer who always has a big family gathering and everyone bakes but her, so she wanted to bring something extra fun this year to show off... here's what I came up with. I kinda wish I had more to do because these were so much fun to design and make.
Don't these remind you of school? They were inspired by the stack I get of them every year from my son... I love them!

Harvest Candy Corn... yes, they do taste different!
They all taste the same... right? It's funny because there is a discussion every year around this time in our house over this "harvest mix" of sweet goodness. We know they are all the exact same ingredients but somehow our brain has us convinced that some taste better than others... I'm tricking my sister's brain and sending her come cookies to taste test this year ;)

Johnson Park in Marble Falls... Halloween charity sale
I had the wonderful opportunity to work with a group called Ride-On which does therapeutic horse training with vets with a group called A Place of Hope who give free medical care to vets who do not have insurance or can't afford treatment. I had so much fun working on these designs and actually doing Halloween cookies for change. If you're in the area (Marble Falls) and want to stop buy, come on down and take a look.

Disney Infinity... Infinite Possibilities. Endless Tasty Fun.
Happy 9th birthday to Milo who is in love with the new Disney Infinity Game. He hand selected the characters he wanted represented to decorated the cake his mom is making for him (the ones on sticks will stick into the top)... In kinda a round about order starting at the top right corner there is Jack Sparrow, Barbosa, Dash, Violet, Jesse, Woody, Mike, Sully, Venelope, Lone Ranger, Ralph, Sally and Lightening McQueen... These were super fun and you never get to see such a wide variety of Disney characters in one place, makes me want to check out the game :)

Hogsback Half Marathon cookies :)
I just shipped out cookies for the 2013 Hogsback Half Marathon taking place this weekend in Colebrook, CT. I was so excited to work with Kelly over at Sonic Endurance (sonicendurance.com) on these because she pretty much gave me free reign to have fun and do something unique for their event.
If you haven't checked them out, take a look at their facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hogsback-Half-Marathon-Goodwin-Dam-Colebrook-CT/102580726503140). The charity they work with is www.runningforrescues.org. These guys are an awesome cause out there doing what they love and trying to save lives of countless dogs and cats at the same time.
Keep up the good work guys, I hope you enjoy the cookies!

Floral themed cookie collection
Cookies for the fabulous Tricia Dunlap of Dunlap Portraits... Seriously if you are anywhere near Austin and want some awesome pics... Tricia blows me away (check her out, http://dunlapportrait.com/). I did these as part of a celebration for her husbands Grandmother. I love the color palette, soft yet still kinda modern... I think I have to go back and find a few more of these plates Tricia, I hope you and your family enjoy them!
Doctor Who Set, take 2 for Emily's 16th Birthday
So I got a chance to revisit the very first set of Doctor Who cookies I did with a few additions These were for Emily's 16th birthday and I really hope she enjoys them. It was fun to go back and revisit the designs and improve them a little bit, plus, how cute are River and Rose? I loved all the personal touches she asked for and I cannot wait to hear how these go over tomorrow.

More bow ties :)
More Bow Ties These were done for a bow tie themed baby shower. I really enjoyed this color palette and everything was done wet on wet icing, no painting on these for a change. I love all the different patterns and the small pops of orange. I hope they are a hit with the party goers this weekend.

Cookies for the Rockin' City Rollergirls
Now that all the girls have had a chance to see them, here is the rest of the Roller Derby set for the Rockin' City Rollergirls here in Round Rock, TX. Check out their website:http://www.rockincityrollergirls.com/, or facebook page:https://www.facebook.com/rockincityrollergirls... these girls are so much fun, and kinda scary at the same time. I am so excited they enjoyed their cookies because I really enjoyed making them, so much so that I got a little carried away with how many I did... but I don't think they minded much ;)

Little Man cookies, Bow ties and Neckties... new and improved
I finally had an excuse to order these super cute bow tie and necktie cookies cutters from Plastics In Print ... How cute did these come out, I love the chunky feel of these shapes! I did my best to match the really fun papers being used in the decorations. This was such a fun project, I loved all the colors and the slightly worn look of her pattern choices.

I participated in a great project this month where a bunch of are recreating a Monet painting by each taking a tile to decorate... Here is mine, #16 I got to try a new technique and I think the end result came out pretty cool and quick to do. I can't wait to see what they'll all look like together, I'll keep you posted
