This shamrock is happy to see you
These were done for my son's school party. He is three and he told me what he wanted as soon as he saw the "eyes" hanging on the rack in the store. He helped mix the dough, color it green, roll it out, and cut the shapes with the cookie cutter. They were a big hit and the kids all had green tongues by the end of the day.

What's gonna work? Teamwork!
Wonder Pets, Wonder Pets, We're on our way...
To help a birthday girl, and save the day...
We're not too big, And we're not too tough...
But when we work together, We've go the right stuff...
Go Wonder Pets (cookies), YUM!
So what toddler today doesn't know who the Wonder Pets are? If you're a parent you've probably heard their theme song more than once in your daily routine... We actually convinced my son to do a lot of things he normally would throw a fit about by putting a Wonder Pets spin on the task..."You need to help feed the dog." "No, I don't want to." "But he's hungry, you need to save him." "Is he in trouble?" "Yes... I'll help... what's gonna work?"... "TEAMWORK" (and then it was all fun because he was "rescuing" our dog from starvation and probably certain doom).
So, sorry... cookies... yes, Wonder Pet cookies :) I had a lot of fun with these, they were done for a coworker who's daughter is only a few months younger than my sons. She didn't want to go too crazy so we did the different color capes for each character and their theme, along with some fun shapes and a party hat. The kids loved these. I found the really cute "star" bags at Hobby Lobby and the mom put the little "W" logos in the middle of the big star. All in all, I think these were a big success.
